Elders (also known as pastors) are those men whom God calls and the congregation confirms who watch over them spiritually, to lead them in the public worship of God, to feed them the Word of God both publicly and privately, to administer the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper, and to guard the church from doctrinal or practical dangers.

Charlie Case
Charlie was born and raised in the north east of the US. He became a Christian in 1964 while in the US Air Force. He studied at Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga and then trained with a Mission Organization for 3 years. He has also done both Undergraduate and Graduate level courses with Massey University in New Zealand, West Australian Bible College in Australia, and a number of courses from different schools in Australia and the USA. He was a missionary for 41 years, most of that time overseas. He was Associate pastor part time for a multicultural church in Sydney Australia for a couple of years. Charlie is married (over 50 years), has three married children, eight grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Charlie retired the beginning of 2013 but as he says, “A Christian never really retires.” He and his wife Cherrie have been members of Grace Chapel since 2014.

Peter Catalano
Peter trusted Christ as his Savior in 1982 and graduated from Maranatha Baptist Bible College in 1989 (BA). He and his wife Rhoda have a married son named Andrew and a married daughter named Erika. Peter also earned his MDiv. from Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary in 1995. He has served as assistant pastor in New Haven, CT, as a pastor in Hamden, CT from 2001-2011 and was ordained to office of elder at Grace Chapel in Sanford, FL (2014)

Chris Hatton
Chris Hatton was he was converted while attending Daytona State College. He was licensed in 1992 and ordained in 1994. He has studied at Davis Bible College, Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary, and South Atlantic Theological Seminary (B.R.E., M.Div, and D.Min). He can also be heard on the Iron Sharpens Iron web site. Pastor Chris is a strong supporter of Biblical Counseling. He and his wife have four older children. He authored the books: "30 Days to a Biblical World View" and " The Practice of Christian Benevolence" and maintains a blogspot of devotional writings at www.devotionalassistance.blogspot.com. Mike White
Michael White was born and raised in Central Florida, and trusted in Jesus Christ in 1988 at the age of twenty. Two years later, he and his wife, Bonnie, moved to California to attend The Master’s College, where he received his B.A. in Biblical Studies. Two books that were particularly influential in his life were “The Gospel According to Jesus” by John MacArthur, and “Chosen By God” by RC Sproul. Mike began serving as an elder at Grace Chapel in 2010. He and his wife were married in 1988 and have four children whom they love to squeeze.
Deacons are those men whom the congregation chooses primarily to watch over the church’s physical concerns. We find the first deacons being ordained in Acts 6 and for the very specific purpose of relieving the elders from focusing on the physical needs of the people.

James Skinner
James is a native Floridian, born in Jacksonville and raised in Deland. Growing up in a loving Christian home, James knew the Lord at an early age. He graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama with a B.A. in History. While attending Samford he met and married his wife Abby. After college James and his wife moved to Las Vegas, Nevada for six years. He served in leadership at Grace Reformed Church while working and obtaining an M.B.A. Currently James works in the family business, resides in Sanford, Florida, and is the father of four energetic young children.
